Hello and thank you for your interest in allowing Joy Truth Kindness Project to assist you in your " Recovery From Life So Far" as we fondly refer to our overall Project/Mission/Ministries Program! My name is Traci Cooper.
My Life Mantra/Motto is: Phil 4:13 and I identify most closely to Job and his life events.
Some 5 years ago now, during an extended period of study and prayer, I felt Led to begin this Project in order to meet the needs of very specific groups in the general population that the "system" often times allows to fall through the cracks. Information is CRITICAL to these special groups of people that oftentimes is not shared. In order to provide the referral to information that will help struggling individuals and bridge that gap, this Project was born!
I admin this web page. Its content offers information & referral to local resources in a number of vital areas of interest along with encouragement and education for a myriad of "specific needs". This is a work in progress.
I originally began this project under a different Project Name, in Georgia and did a lot of personal outreach with the homeless population and provided the local authorities with a resource list in Athens Georgia...go Dawgs...in my previous local community there. I moved to Alabama to see first hand the areas of need in 2017 and hope to do that Outreach again in the future there. I currently reside in Georgia as of 2018..
My fave color is dark purple...a Biblically confirmed, extremely rare and precious commodity and a Sign of Royalty.
My fave animal is a frog Not only are they vibrant and unique, they are adaptable and live up to their acronym name:

l have a "thing" for rainbows. It stands as an enduring Sign of God's first Agreement with mankind, no matter WHAT the secular world would have it represent.
THIS PHOTO WAS TAKEN BY A NEAR AND DEAR EONS AGO...JUST TO MAKE SURE I SMILED THAT DAY:
SEE THIS POST FOR A DEEPER UNDERSTANDING:
The rainbow is the flag of God, the seven-colored royal standard. No icon, no regimental colors, no empire symbol could match that! The word ‘bow’ in Genesis 9:13 is the same Hebrew word as a bow for arrows – a war bow. What a war- bow, spanning the whole horizon! What mighty arrows it must shoot when God goes into battle. ‘The Lord will march out like a mighty man, like a warrior he will stir up his zeal; with a shout he will raise the battle cry and will triumph over his enemies’. (Isaiah 42:12.) The rainbow is not a mere phenomenon of beauty but a Divine reminder of God’s archery. ‘There was a rainbow round about the throne and out of the throne proceeded lightnings’, God’s mighty arrows. (Rev. 4:3,5). No wind can blow a rainbow away. No devil can switch it off. The battle belongs to the Lord. We all suffer life’s storms when ominous blackness fills our skies, but that arching splendor of prismatic color in the rain cloud, seen with our mortal eyes, is the objective standard of God to reassure us. God’s rainbow is His love bent to the world - and you and me. God bless you today.

I am currently enrolled in a 4 year degree program at Ashford University online to obtain my Psychology Degree in 2020. Although my counseling, adult literacy (Each case is priced based upon financial ability to contribute. All proceeds go toward Joy Truth Kindness Outreach Projects operating costs) and homeless resource/referral services (free of charge) are offered from a "real world experience" perspective and I do not have my credentials as of yet, I have found that 9 out of 10 situations can be broken down into elementary, easier to handle issues to complete a whole picture of a healthy mind set and practical tools and tricks, including one on one conversations that are open and honest. The method I use is conversations. Being able to vent and process is the hardest part of any battle when it comes to Life Recovery. I am a struggling, imperfect Christian/child of God. I have a personal relationship with my Lord and Savior and often that shines through on the feedback I offer those I counsel although I do not insist anyone adhere to either that belief system or the 12 steps (AA, NA, Celebrate Recovery, etc) I also utilize in my conversations. I have backgrounds with Lutheran, Southern Baptist, Pentecostal/Holiness, Jehovah Witness, Non-Denominational and Catholic Denominational experiences. Time, growth and study have Led me to be the most comfortable with my Higher Power as a Messianic Jew. (I encourage you to do some research on this belief system if you are unfamiliar). I am an avid reader and advocate of self-improvement and understand how to find information and have a Talent for teaching Adult Reading and successful parenting techiques.
As a survivor of Abuse in all its ugly forms, Homelessness, dependency (at one time) to pain pills, Divorce, Rape, Single Parenthood, I am also "differently abled". I have a unique perspective on what works and what doesn't in the arena of overcoming many personal obstacles.
I have been twice divorced, a single mother to a daughter who happens to be the product of rape, and in homeless situations most of my adult life.
I was born with Spina Bifida. I am full-time wheelchair-bound. I have upwards of 40 surgeries.
I am certified to officiate over weddings, funerals and other such ceremonies. Each case is priced based upon financial ability to contribute. All proceeds go toward Joy Truth Kindness Outreach Projects operating costs.
